Have you ever stopped to get a drink of water at the water fountain near your class only to find that the water pressure was too low to get a drink? Doesn’t that make you mad?

We here at Talon Marks have often wondered why this school has very few working water fountains?

Is this a way to keep students buying water from the various venders on campus?

If so, why is it that these water vending machines are empty? We noticed that there was not a single water fountain outside in Falcon Square. Is it too much for students to have convenient water fountains out doors? The vending machines aren’t always convenient either.

The other day we went to three different vending machines to buy a bottle and all three were empty. We were angry but at the same time we were a little relieved because we didn’t appreciate having to buy the water in the first place.

The whole idea of having to buy water is a joke. California has so many bottled water companies that they should all just conglomerate and maybe the price of hydration would not cost so much.

Water has become such a commercialized commodity It’s as if somewhere in the early 90’s there was some sort of water inflation.

The water never has a fresh taste to it. Have you ever had a bottle that made you wonder if the bottle was filled from the tap? We think the water sold on campus is recycled!

Coca Cola is only five cents more than Evian. Yet Coke has so many more different ingredients and water is just water. Problem? We think so.

Not only is it expensive, it is not very tasty either. Why should we pay a dollar for water that is barely a step up from the tap?
