The Cerritos College transfer center sponsored the University Mini Fair Tuesday, were over 25 representatives of educational opportunities came on campus to promote their school and inform students.

The transfer center puts on two fairs per semester two in the spring and two in the fall, one of the two in the fall is a large University fair where over 120 colleges, universities and post educational opportunity representatives. “It’s a great opportunity for students to learn more about were they want to go after this.” Woody Skiba a computer science major said about the university fair and. Some of the participating universities included UCLA, Cal State University Dominguez Hills, Cal State Fullerton, and Cal State University Long Beach.There were also several private schools participating in the fair one of which was the University of Redlands and its satellite campus in Santa Anna. ” We are here so students from other counties know what were about” Claudia Andrade a University of Redlands representative said about why she was there representing her university.As in most college activities having to with post educational opportunities the Army was in full force, informing and educating about the educational and economic opportunities it provides.

The University fair provides students with information that can help the students decide on a transfer choice or even a choice in major. Along with universities that were there were also Institutes of art and oceanography at the fair.
