I’d like to say “PHOOEY” on all my fellow classmates who do not take pride in filling out teacher evaluations. I think it’s amazing students single filey line up after class expecting one on one attention from instructors to have their questions answered in detail and problems magically solved. Yet, we rarely take two minutes from a regular semester to say “Hey Teach, I appreciate the job your doing.” Nonetheless and God for bid, thirty seconds from an eighteen week course to fill out two sentences at the bottom of your instructor evaluation sheets. Thirty seconds from eighteen weeks? Whew, there are a lot of seconds that fill that duration of time! I honestly wonder and often ponder; how it is that any student can have the audacity to gripe!! If communication is a process of sending and receiving of information and all we’re doing is sending grievances, ultimately we get what we deserve!
