Impressions on iFALCON Q & A

Rick Gomez

Q: What are your thoughts on the new iFALCON campaign?
A:  I think it’s a good idea. I think every student needs a little bit of guidance in his or her academic journey.

Q: Are you a first generation student?
A: Coming to college in the United States, I’m the first in my family.

Q: Do you think this campaign will benefit you?
A: Yes. It would be a lot of help for me and other students.

Q: What’s your favorite feature on this campaign?
A: Well, I think the campaign cards are my favorite because they are more personal.  Also, the banners and the pictures are really good and attractive.

Q: Do you think it will be successful in the spring?
A: Every campaign needs a little bit of time. I think the most important thing is to deliver the message. I think when you are delivering that message, it is somehow going to have an impact.

Q: Do you think Habits of Mind will spread to other schools?
A: Well actually yes because we are preparing something called the outreach program that goes out to high schools and promotes college and education. I think it would be great if it were extended even to high schools.

Q: What kind of feedback has faculty given about iFALCON?
A: There have been many emails received and all the emails have included positive comments.

Q: What do you think are some problems that might come across when it first gets
A: I think it would be more minor problems. I think the biggest problem would be how students are going to receive this. It takes time.

Q: Do you think the transfer percentage will increase?
A: Yes. It will make an impact. I think more importantly, it will increase the percentage we have right now.

Q: Do you falcon?
A: Of course I falcon.
