The announcement was made that the hydration stations have been reduced from five to four because of budget constraints during ASCC Cabinet meeting on Monday, March 20.

Cabinet also discussed planned future renovations for the building where cabinet and senate meetings take place.

A presentation showcased Senior Preview Day which will be held Friday, April 24.

Christine Soneriu, Program Assistant II for School Relations, held a presentation highlighting Senior Preview Day. Clubs on campus can hold booths to show high school seniors the types of clubs and activities that are available at Cerritos College. This will be it’s 17th year.

The event will be primarily a booth fair. In the past, Senior Preview days were done in presentations.

“With a booth fair, [students] can walk and see what departments there are and this way, students can get the info they’re looking for”, Sonreiu said.

A big turnout is expected this year. Sonreiu said, “We’ve been averaging 1,000 but this year we have 1,300 confirmed.” Of the 1,300 confirmed, 1,100 are expected.
