Men’s tennis looks to finish undefeated in conference play

The men’s tennis team are 16-4 in season and are 5-0 in conference.

The Falcons look to stay undefeated in the conference match against El Camino Community College on Thursday, March 26 at 2 p.m.

On Mar. 24 the Men’s Tennis team clinched their eighth South Coast Conference championship in the last 11 seasons.

This will be the Falcon’s last conference game of the season and they will only play three more matches after playing El Camino.

Freshman Mark Antoniuk, business major, said, “I’m going to win the match with knowing the other team (El Camino) I expect it to be easy for us and win the match.”

Freshman Agustin Lombardi, kinesiology major, said, “We beat them twice and we expect to beat then again.”

He added, “I want to push in doubles with my partner to control the front and in singles just try to find the other weakness of the other player and win the match.”

The Falcons next game will be home against Bakersfield community college on March 31 at 2 p.m.
