More proof that Cerritos College is growing is in the 2001 summer enrollment figures. Enrollment for the first day of classes for summer 2001 was up 11.67 percent.
On the first day of classes for the summer of 2000, enrollment was 9,265. On May 21, 2001, the first day of classes for this summer, enrollment swelled to 10,346.
The College anticipates the enrollment to increase as the second session begins. Registration for summer classes is underway. Classes for the second six-week and eight-week sessions will begin on July 2.
