ARTIST LECTURES IN ART GALLERY Artist Raul Guerrero will be speaking about his art, which is hanging in the Art Gallery in room AC-50, Thursday from 2 – 3 p.m., and then again from 3:30 – 4:30 where he will show slides.

SEMINAR SERIES Phi Theta Kappa and the Scholars’ Honors Program will be hosting “The Isolated Community” Wednesday from 2 – 4 p.m. in the Student Center.This seminar will discuss idealogical groups which voluntarily separate themselves from the rest of society.

WPMD HOSTS DISCUSSION”The Many Moods of Vince Daniels” gives outspoken WPMD air personalities an opportunity to vent and engage in open discussion about American Politics on the pro’s and con’s of war.Taking part will be “Jazz Lounge” host Lisa Carreon, “The Top 5 at 5s” Victor Savage, and Whitney High transfer student Kimberly Grant, host of “The Public Display of Intelligence.” This will be a live simulcast airing from 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 10 at 1700 A.M. and at WPMD on the internet.

THEATRE PRODUCTION OPENSStarmites, Cerritos College’s theatre department’s newest production about comic book heroes and villains starts Friday, and also plays on Saturday, and then resumes again the following week on the 18, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m., and on Oct. 21 at 2 p.m.
