What keeps Margarita’s customers coming back for more? It’s definitely the great food, competitive prices and the friendly service. If you haven’t yet tried Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant, you’re really missing out.

You’re mouth will water as you gaze upon Margarita’s picture menu depicting a selection of wet burritos, tacos, seafood meals and more.

Margarita’s didn’t forget about the vegetarian population. It offers meat-less dishes such as veggie enchiladas, veggie burritos and chile rellenos (stuffed bell-peppers.)

Delicious natural drinks such as Tamarindo and Jamaica juices, and Horchata are served. As well as carbonated soft drinks for those with a caffeine-deficiency.

“It’s inexpensive, delicious and has good, polite service,” said Cerritos College student Maria Hernandez.The dishes are under five bucks and well worth your money with generous servings.

Friendly service is one of the restaurant’s qualities. Home-made salsa and fresh, crispy chips are served while you wait. The staff will make you feel right at home.

Margarita’s is conveniently located across the street from our campus on the corner of Alondra Boulevard and Studebaker Road.

Margarita’s is a family owned and operated business. The restaurant is “named after my mother,” said owner Jaime Chavez. “The food is made with her recipes, so we decided to name the restaurant after her,” he explained.

“I got tired of Tacobell, I wanted real mexican food,” said Law major Lizet Lopez. “They make all the dishes my mom makes,” she marvelled.

Incase you find yourself stumped on what to order, Chavez suggests you try their tacos, tortas, wet burritos, or the fish tacos.

Next time you find yourself wandering aimlessly around campus in search for a decent meal. Wander over to Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant. Your taste buds will thank you.
