Josh Johnson and Steven Garcia, representing Cerritos College, won their matches Saturday to help the South defeat the North, 31-6 in the North/South All-Star Meet in Fresno.
The annual meet matches the top ranked wrestlers in each weight class from northern and southern California.
Johnson, who has a 14-1 record at 141 pounds, defeated Jarret newton of Santa Rosa, 15-5.
Garcia, who has been wrestling at 157 pounds, is ranked no. 1 in the 149 pound weight class.
In his first match in the 149 pound division, Garcia defeated his opponent by a 17-1 score.
Tuesday, the Falcons will host Palomar College at 7 p.m., then travel to Las Vegas for the Embry-Riddle Tournament Friday and Saturday.
