Ever have to study for a test or research a paper on the weekend but the library is closed? Thanks to the ASCC this may never happen to you again.
The library will now be open Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Visual impaired students and those who are wheel chair bound would benefit a great deal because of less traffic and more room in the library.
Low-income students will also benefit from the extended hours because they will have access to textbooks on file in the library.
ASCC members point out the extended library hours will also:
?Set up students for a chain reaction
?Meet the needs of the local communities
?Help PACE program students
?Provide a safe haven for life-transition students, so they may succeed with their education
