The Cerritos College technology division of the cosmetology department presented their annual student hair show in the student center on Monday night.
The students were able to compete in six categories including Fantasy Make-Up, Evening Design on Doll head, Hair Sculpting with Design for Club Look, Long Hair Evening Style, Long Hair Up-Do and Evening Ethnic Hair Design.
The department also sold raffles tickets for door prizes.
Students designs ranged from contemporary to wild. Many of the doll heads were very creative and unique in their own way.
Many of the students used different techniques to put apply the make-up to the models. Some students applied glue, glitter and sparkles.
The audience was full of participants, cosmetology students, teachers, regular students, friends and family members.
