Although new bands seem to pop up every five seconds, they hardly ever seem to leave a lasting impression. But Drive-Thru Records new band, The Starting Line, leaves an impression so deep; it might as well be tattooed in your mind.
Their album, “Say It Like You Mean It,” was released July 16, and this emo-influenced foursome has proven themselves worthy to the music world.
Based out of Pennsylvania, The Starting Line talks about typical everyday things such as love, traveling, and life’s twists and turns. But they also show their love for performing as well.
“What can I say that can explain? The feeling of screaming out the words, of the things I think about, and hearing them coming back from the crowds mouth is perfect.”
Along with energized chords and songs that can get anyone singing along, the young members of this band radiate a vibe that gets everyone’s foot tapping along.
The album “Say It Like You Mean It” is one that definitely belongs in everyone’s CD collection and The Starting Line is a band that won’t be reaching the finish line any time soon.
