On Saturday, Nov. 16, over 30 exhibitors will be on hand at Cerritos College to display their products and give informative presentations on a variety of computer-related topics. MacFair 2002 is the largest Macintosh show to be held in the Southwestern United States, and offers something for everyone.

“We are extremely proud to be hosting Southern California MacFair 2002. Through this forum Cerritos College is able to showcase this innovative technology and disseminate it to the community,” said Jose Anaya, the director of Economic Development at Cerritos College.

“The support of the Mac community has been incredible. Our exhibitors and presenters are thrilled to finally have a MacFair in Southern California, home of the largest population of Mac users in the world,” said Keith Mueller, the show’s organizer.

Participants include, but are not limited to: Apple Computer (ASC), Aladdin Systems, MYOB, Movieworks, MacSolutionExperts.com, MCE Technologies, ProVUe Development, CoolMacStuff.com, ADS, ProMax Systems, Excellisys and many more.

Workshops will target all audiences from the computer guru to the two-finger typist. Topics that will be touched on throughout the day include: Organizing Your Business with the Power of FileMaker Pro, Easy Multimedia Authoring with MovieWorks, Creating Great Soundtracks for Your Videos, The Spam Racket, How to Run Your Small Business with MYOB, Creating Your Own Software – Even if You are Not a Programmer, Learning to Manage Your Fonts, Demystifying Inkjet Printing, with additional workshops on DV production and Photo Shop Imaging.
