I haven’t had so much fun at the movies since…well, since I saw the very attractive leading man in another romantic comedy.

But this time around, Matthew McConaughey is in “How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days.”

The chemistry between McConaughey and Kate Hudson was noticeable from the get go.

Ben Berry (McConaughey) and Andie Anderson (Hudson) play young Manhattanites who are trying to move up in their professions. Berry, an advertisement executive and Anderson, a columnist for a magazine are both trying to impress their bosses and that’s how eventually they run into each other.

Anderson is tired of writing “how to” columns and desires to write about politics and things more important than how to lose weight or how to shop for your body type and Berry wants to get away from beer and sports accounts, so he is going after a jewelry account (diamonds).

Anderson ends up with an assignment that requires her to do some wild and crazy things. The first time she goes over to his bachelor pad she brings over some teddy bears, a “love” fern (plant), and chick cd’s. Not only does she invade his space, she then invades his friendships with his buddies.

At the same time Berry, is trying to win a bet–that any woman will fall in love with him in a week and a half, so this is one reason why he puts up with all the nagging, Vagisil in his bathroom cabinet and a Celine Dion concert during the NBA finals.

Overall, this movie is extremely funny and entertaining, in my opinion this is a chick flick but it’s really a movie for anyone that wants to go to a movie for the sole purpose of being entertained because like all romantic comedies you know the ending even before buying the tickets.
