Some men graduate from college and mature to start families and businesses. And from time to time, they still reminisce and remember the good old days where there were parties, girls, and lots of beer. But in Old School, they take a big trip down memory lane, back to the college where they had the best times of their lives. Literally.

Old School is about a guy named Mitch (Luke Wilson), who finds his girlfriend in a very surprising and deceiving position that changes his life. His friends, Beanie (Vince Vaughn) and Frank (Will Ferrall) are determined to help him turn his life around.

Mitch then finds a big house near their old college to live in and start life over in. Yet when Mitch finds out that Beanie has started a fraternity, and that it will reside in his new home, he flips out. Beanie persuades him to give it a try and when Mitch agrees, that’s when the fun begins.

This movie was so hilarious! And a big chunk of that comedy was contributed by Frank, who with the help of alcohol, turns into “Frank-the Tank”. Complete with streaking, mood changes, and tranquilizer guns, this character was easily the heart of this movie.

And of course, no movie comes complete without a villain, and with this, the movie presented the Dean. The dean was someone who the guys used to bully around in college, but comes back with a vengeance and goes to any lengths to try and dismember the fraternity.

Although it does mainly focus on the party aspect of it, the story does also focus on the fact that Mitch realizes that it’s going to take more than a party to get his life back on track.

This was a great movie. Its great for the older college generation, the younger college generation, and for the older who want to remember when they were younger.
