It was a fight to the finish last night when the women’s and men’s basketball team went to the second round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs.
The women’s basketball team (20-12 overall) was only a few shots short of winning the game, but host Orange Coast finished up the game and won, 55-47, Wednesday.
The men’s team played Wednesday as well and was pretty much in the same position as the women.
The men’s basketball team lost to Oxnard in what was a very close game.
The Falcons were one shot short of tying up the game and two baskets away from winning.
The final score was Cerritos 70, Oxnard 72.
