Cerritos College facilities committee had been working together to improve the campus with a 21person task force helping on the project May 10 in the Teleconference Room.

In the hour-long meeting, 21 faculty members were in attendance and discussed new ideas on how to improve the campus.

The meeting involved subjects such as how to open up to the students, what buildings needed to be build, and how much the state help pay for the school’s expense.

David El Fattal, Vice president of business service explain that Cerritos college master project fund is coming from the $82 million that’s left giving to us by the state.

He also explains that the master occurs every five years were they evaluate the facilities condition on campus.

“Were going to a process to see what’s been built and what needs to be built” said Fatal and added they will be considering to fix some buildings but has not yet been official.

Fattal also explains he is hoping that everything undergo accordingly and said ” What I hope to get from this process were going threw is ware Cerritos going to be at the year 2025.”

Another person working on the master plan is Robert Riffle Director of Physical Plant explains that he is looking forward on fixing the facilities to make a better learning environment for student.

Riffle also added and said ” The plan is working very well construction is construction as everyone knows every thing work in different pace and we constructed many buildings on campus.”

He also said that the next building they are thinking on constructing might be the liberal art building and is looking forward.

President Dr Linda Lacy explain that the master plan is going accordingly and is looking forward into the near future.

Lacy also added and said” am looking forward for a student healthy learning environment.”
