Freshman quarterback Kane Wilson has transferred to Fullerton College, according to head coach Frank Mazzotta.
Wilson helped the Falcons get to the Southern California Championship before being eliminated by Mount San Antonio College.
He had over 2100 yards and 17 touchdowns last season.
He is expected to compete for the starting job against Fullerton quarterback Matt Goggans.
The Falcons are currently participating in spring training and sophomores Brandon Denker and Morgan Fennel are competing for the starting job.
“I think the best thing we (coaches) ever did was redshirt Brandon. He was our backup two seasons ago and he played really well,” Mazzotta said.
“Morgan didn’t really throw the ball a lot in high school (Long Beach Polytechnic High School) and I think that helped him a lot. He has really developed as a passer.”
