The Artists Society Club held a two day henna tattoo making fundraiser on Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Within those two days of making henna tattoos, the club managed to raise $150 Hagop Najarian said the arts professor.

“Today’s just a warm-up for tomorrow,” Nelson Leal said. “We are going to be out here at Falcons Square and we’re trying to extend the times too because we want more people to come.”

There were eight people, but not all of them were doing the tattoos some were helping to manage with the money and others helping the people choose the right henna for them.

A couple of people came out to support the club with buying henna tattoos, Eunji Kim said, “I’m just here to support the group,” she paid two dollars for her henna tattoo.

Leal said, the club is trying to raise money for future events and art exhibits, we are going to be here today and tomorrow. We’re going to try to extend the time tomorrow.”

John Relova said the club expects a bigger crowd tomorrow, due to the Costume Contest at Falcon Square.
