Three Cerritos College swimmers recorded outstanding times in their events, and earned All-American honors at the State Championships at Solano College last weekend.
The All-American designation is awarded to the top 16 times in the country in each event.
Laura Luevano finished sixth in the 100- and 200-yard freestyle races, recording times of 55.42 and 2:00.33, respectively, and finished 13th in the 100-yard intermediate relay with a time of 1:02.68.
Katrina Kimble swam the 50-yard butterfly in 28.50 seconds to finish in 13th place.
Dan Garcia took 9th place in the 50-yard freestyle at 21.64 seconds. He finished 11th in the 100-yard freestyle (48.07) and 13th in the 100-yard butterfly (53.47).
