Do you plan on transferring but you don’t know where to begin or even find information? If so, start planning your transfer with a workshop.

Articulation 101 will be held on Friday February 21st from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The workshop will give details on how to get your courses to count for transfer and general education. It is important to RSVP by Feb. 14 to (562) 860-2451 x2141 or x2126. Lunch will be provided.

The workshop will assist students with choosing the right courses to satisfy the universities lower division general education and major requirements.

This program is a repeat that was offered last year that explains the articulation process beginning from the writing of courses at Cerritos to their eventual acceptance at four-year- university.

On the Director’s Message from the Cerritos College web-site, Jan Connal, who is the Transfer Center Director, said “Please take advantage of the workshops and university tours offered, these steps will help you to transfer with confidence.”

Students who are unable to attend the workshop may walk-in or make an appointment with a transfer center counselor for further questions and help on how to transfer.

The transfer center is located in the one step area of the Administration Building.Their hours are from 9 a.m. to 7p.m. Monday through Thursday and are closed on Fridays.
