Cerritos College offers a variety of clubs and organizations for students to join.

The Future Teachers Club will be fundraising for the Boys and Girls Club of Whittier this semester. The FTC meets every other Thursday so if you are interested in joining this club, their next meeting will be held on Jan. 20 in SS 137 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon and in LH 4 from 7 to 8 p.m.

The International Students Association welcomes all Falcons who want to join a diverse club. The ISA meetings are held every Wednesday in LA 20 from 4 to 5 p.m.

The Cosmetology Department offers a large variety of services. They offer haircuts, perms, tints and even facials. All of the services are provided by cosmetology students who are supervised by their instructors.

Campus Crusade for Christ meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in AC 51 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.

Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society, will be working hard this semester to raise funds for a clock that they will donate to Cerritos College. “We want the clock to be visible from Falcon Square,” said Erick Cortez, PTK’s Public Relations Officer. PTK meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in LA 25 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon and also from 5 to 6 p.m.

Phi Beta Lambda (Business Club) will be competing in business related competitions this semester. The 1st and 2nd places from the various subjects in these competitions will compete in Nationals, which will be held in Texas this year.
