NORWALK, Calif.- The International Students Association celebrated its Thanksgiving potluck on Wednesday with over 40 people showing up to celebrate and feast on all the food provided by the students.
The Thanksgiving potluck had food from many of the different cultures involved in ISA like Mexican taquitos, Filipino lumpias, Spanish rice pudding and much more.
Other food provided to the students was traditional turkey, chicken, noodles, hot chocolate, champurrado and a infinity of pastries including brownies, cakes, and gelatin.
Adriana Ibanez, business marketing major and new student to ISA was one of the delighted students who attended this event.
“I think is a great event, where all students can come together and be thankful that we have an ISA” Ibanez said.
Throughout the Thanksgiving potluck ISA historian Brittney Forsythe and Homecoming Princess Yeim Bae showcased pictures of all the International Tea Times that ISA has hosted like that of Mexico, Spain, Philippines, Kenya, and Nicaragua.
The ISA welcomes any students who want to learn about different cultures and ultimately have fun doing so.
