The Cerritos College Library Club will be giving out two $150.00 scholarships to students who have shown leadership and involvement in the club.

In order to qualify for the scholarship the student must be a current Library Club Member, have a minimum 2.5 GPA and has to be currently enrolled in 5 units or more.

The applicant is required to submit a short 500 words or less essay along with their application.

The essay prompt for both scholarships is to describe your educational and career goals, and all the Library Club events you have participated or volunteered in this semester.

Complete applications must be submitted with an essay, full name, and student ID number to [email protected] by Dec. 15.

The Library Club encourages students to apply ASAP and to email any questions or concern to their email.

The recipients of The Paula Pereira Award and The Hope/Esperanza Award will be announced on Dec. 16, at the club’s party.

The Library Club meets every first and third Thursday of every month in room LC-217 from 11:00 a.m. until noon.
