Lil Wayne has once again claimed the self-proclaimed title of “Best Rapper Alive” with the release of “Tha Carter IV” this past week.

After postponing his ninth solo studio album twice, the album leaked onto the internet on Wednesday and it makes any listener accept his latest apology. You know “Sorry 4 the wait”, a mixtape he released in July to give his fans something to listen to until the album dropped.

While he hasn’t reinvented his style completely, he’s perfected his signature style and experimented with a few new techniques that makes this album make any Wayne fan go nuts.

Whether it’s the deep emotion he pours into “How to love” or the arrogant dominance he spews out in “Abortion”, it makes you really understand why on the song “Miss me when I’m gone” in 2010, he said, “Man, I got so many styles, I am a group.”

Wayne, who’s given name is Dwayne Michael Carter, hinted in an interview with XXL magazine that the album may be his last citing his children as a reason, he would give up his career.

If that is so, he has definitely solidified himself a place among hip hop icons such as Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.
