In comeback fashion, the Cerritos College football team (3-3, 1-0) scored 31 points in the final three quarters in the game to give it the 31-24 victory over Ventura College (3-3, 0-1) on Saturday at the Ventura College Sportsplex.
The Falcons trailed 14-0 after the first quarter of the game against Ventura but rebounded with a 16-point second quarter.
The victory gives the football its first National Division Northern Conference win.
Last season, the Falcons went 4-1 in conference play.
Cerritos will host El Camino College on Saturday at Falcon Stadium in the college’s homecoming game.
The teams will also be playing for the Milk Jug trophy. Cerritos currently has possession.
The Falcons haven’t lost to El Camino since the 2008 season.
