Missed opportunities costs Falcons baseball chance at win

The Cerritos College men’s baseball team suffered a loss to Moorpark College 0-6 on Feb. 9.

The Falcons only had three hits in a game where they stranded eight runners on base, and had one error.

Sophomore Chase Holland had two of the Falcons three hits.

Freshman Cesar Castillo spoke about the loss and about not being able to hit with runners in scoring position

“We need to get executions done and just have timely hitting and we will be on the right track.”

The Falcons hit into three double plays during the game, which killed potential scoring drives.
